Warsaw Presidential Hotel
Opened in 1989 as the Warsaw Marriott - the city’s first Western luxury hotel and host to several US presidents - the tower became the Warsaw Presidential Hotel in August 2024. Its casino, run by Casinos Poland, has operated through the change and remains one of the largest in the country.
Overview
The LIM Center was completed in 1989 as a joint venture of LOT Polish Airlines, the Austrian builder ILBAU and Marriott International; its hotel, the Warsaw Marriott, was the first Western luxury hotel in post-communist Poland and a landmark of the transition years. Marriott left in August 2024 and the owner, LIM Center Sp. z o.o., relaunched the property as the independent five-star Warsaw Presidential Hotel - the name recalls the heads of state who stayed there.
The hotel has 521 rooms, all from the 20th floor upward with panoramic views, four restaurants and bars including the Panorama Sky Bar, a heated pool with saunas and a fitness centre, and a direct tunnel to Warszawa Centralna station. The casino, on the second floor of the podium, has long been part of the building and is today operated by Casinos Poland.
Location
Al. Jerozolimskie 65/79, at the very centre of Warsaw opposite the Palace of Culture and Science, with Warszawa Centralna station connected by tunnel and the Złote Tarasy shopping centre next door. Chopin Airport is 20 minutes by taxi or train. From Norway there are direct flights to Warsaw from Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.

521 rooms and suites occupying floors 20 to 40 of the tower, so every room has a city panorama. Categories run from Superior rooms to Executive rooms with lounge access and a set of suites; the hotel is undergoing renovation following the rebrand, so ask which floors have been refurbished. Note that in early 2025 the regional authority issued and then suspended an order concerning fire-safety works; the hotel has operated throughout.

The casino: Casinos Poland - Warsaw (Hotel Presidential)
The casino is operated by Casinos Poland Sp. z o.o., one of the largest land-based casino operators in Poland, under a Ministry of Finance licence. It is located on the second floor of the hotel podium and is open around the clock, offering roulette, blackjack, poker cash games (Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud), slot machines and VIP rooms. The operator does not publish table or slot counts on its website; third-party listings cite about 35 tables. Registration with a valid original passport or national ID card is required for entry.

Casino history
Casinos in Poland were legalised in 1992, and the Marriott’s casino was among the first in Warsaw, occupying a prime spot in the city’s first Western hotel. Casinos Poland, founded in 1989 and today part of the Century Casinos group, has operated the venue for many years and lists it as “Warszawa - Hotel Presidential (formerly Marriott)”. The company’s other Warsaw casino, at the Hilton, has closed, leaving the Presidential as its flagship in the capital.
When Marriott withdrew from the LIM Center in August 2024 the casino continued without interruption under the new hotel name. Polish law limits the number of casinos per city by population and requires each guest to register with ID, which explains the passport check at the door.
