1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser; local-storage entries are a similar mechanism without an expiry sent to the server. Both let a site remember something between pages or visits. They can be first-party (set by the site you are on) or third-party (set by another domain embedded in the page).
2. Who sets them
Cookies on centrumstrategii.com are set by Centrum Strategii Marketingowej sp. z o.o., Targowa 35, 90-001 Łódź, Poland, the operator of this independent review site. We embed no third-party widgets, advertising or social-media plug-ins, so no third-party cookies are set while you stay on our pages.
3. Essential storage
cs-cookie (local storage): remembers whether you chose “Essential only” or “Accept all” so the banner does not reappear. Lifetime: until you clear site data. Legal basis: necessary to honour your choice (no consent required).
4. Functional storage
Interface state such as an open FAQ item lives only in the page while it is open and is not stored between visits. No functional cookies are set.
5. Analytics (consent only)
If you click “Accept all”, we record anonymised page-view counts to see which reviews are read. IP addresses are truncated, no cross-site identifiers are created and no data is shared with advertisers. If you click “Essential only”, nothing is recorded. Analytics identifiers, where used, expire after 13 months at most.
6. Third-party cookies
We set none. However, when you follow a link to a hotel, casino operator, Booking.com, Google Maps or Wikimedia Commons, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy. We recommend reading their notices.
7. The consent banner
On your first visit a banner offers “Essential only” and “Accept all”. The site works fully with either choice. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time by clearing site data for centrumstrategii.com in your browser, after which the banner appears again.
8. How to manage cookies in your browser
All modern browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and local storage: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Safari (Preferences → Privacy), Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions). Blocking essential storage will only cause the banner to reappear.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as “Essential only” and do not run analytics, regardless of banner state.
10. Cookies and the reservation-inquiry form
The form sets no cookies. What you type is sent only when you press “Send inquiry” and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Legal basis
Essential storage relies on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Law exception for strictly necessary storage; analytics rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules as implemented in Poland and Norway).
12. Retention
Local-storage entries persist until you delete them. Analytics identifiers expire after 13 months at most. Aggregated statistics contain no personal data.
13. Contact and complaints
Questions about cookies: hello@centrumstrategii.com. You may complain to the Polish data protection authority (uodo.gov.pl) or to Datatilsynet in Norway (datatilsynet.no).
14. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, this page and the banner text will be updated and the date at the top changed.
